Rescue: Foxy

This is Foxy.
We got a message about an injured dog by a high school.
I posted a photo of a dog we found in the area, but she was healthy and belonged to some homeless men that slept there at the park. The person that reported the dog said it was not the same one as the photo I posted on Facebook. We headed back to check. This is what we came across.

We named her Foxy because she was behind Jefferson High School in El Paso, TX. Home of the Silver Foxes.
She’s headed to a vet on Monday to check her condition. She seems to have problems with both legs and her head is not steady. In my opinion she may have brain trauma, possibly from being hit by a car. We’ll find out more soon. We’ll keep you updated.

For now if you would like to help Foxy and other abandoned or lost animals you can donate on the box on the left.
Thank you all so much for the support!

UPDATE: Sun. Aug. 11, 2013 – Foxy is doing well. She’s eating and getting a lot of rest. We were going to take her to the vet today but she doesn’t appear to be in any immediate pain or discomfort. The nearest available clinic is usually very full and I don’t want her to get stressed out so we’re waiting until tomorrow.

UPDATE: Mon. Aug. 12, 2013 – Foxy has a broken pelvis and broken femur. She is on pain medications and stool softeners to help her go to the bathroom.
