Rescue: Sandie

This is Sandie.

Sandie’s owner fell on hard times and had to move to a place that didn’t allow pets. Sadly the owner had to leave Sandie behind in the empty house. She had no transportation to even check on her. The water to the home was shut off. Neighbors provided Sandie with food and water. One person took her in temporarily but things didn’t work out and she was back in the empty house.

Thankfully the owner contacted a friend of our group that then notified us.
It was a rough couple of weeks for her trying to get things together for her but we have now have found a foster home for her and even bought and installed a new kennel for her. She’s on her way to her new home this afternoon this evening.
She’ll be spayed and fully vaccinated in a few weeks and available for adoption.

Big thanks to Sherri Andrews who is rescuing this dog, Kellie, the new foster, and Trista Martin and Dawn Janisko Tuavaofrom Precious Paws for helping put the pieces together to make this happen.
